Anthropics Claude 3 now available in the EU and as iOS app
Anthropic's chatbot Claude is finally available in Europe. Until now, the biggest competitor to ChatGPT was only accessible from the EU via VPN or API. The company also announced that Claude is now available as an iOS app in the Apple App Store. For businesses, there is a new team plan with a higher usage limit and better management features. Anthropic has also updated its terms of service, terms and conditions, and privacy policy. The data controller for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland is now the Irish subsidiary Anthropic Ireland Limited. The data retention period has been changed to 30 days and Amazon Web Services has been added as a sub-processor. The full documents are available on Anthropic's website.
