summary Summary

To get a better feel for which AI prompt leads to which image, it's worth taking a look at one of these websites.

Generative AIs such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and DALL-E 2 produce unpredictable results. Even the developers do not know which input will generate which image. All the more valuable are extensive databases in which thousands of generated images can be looked up along with their associated prompts. We took a closer look at three of them.

Synesthetic.ai

  • Prompts only for Stable Diffusion
  • you can't upload your images
  • AI generation only for selected users

Synesthetic.ai is limited to Stable Diffusion and serves as an inspiration gallery and search engine. The site invites you to browse.

When you discover an image you like, click on it to see the associated prompt that led to the image. To imitate the style but apply it to a different subject, the corresponding style cues are listed separately.

The fact that the collection is constantly expanding is thanks to Stable Diffusion's API. This means that new content can be generated directly on the website - even if this is currently still reserved for selected users.

ArtHub.ai

  • prompts for Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, DALL-E 2
  • works a bit like a social network
  • AI generation apparently accessible for free

ArtHub.ai tries to give AI image generation the character of a social network. All kinds of AI-generated images can be uploaded here and then tagged with various keywords. If you particularly like an AI artist, you can follow the person directly on the platform and rate individual works with a thumbs-up or thumbs-down.

To find more images and the corresponding prompts for a certain generic term, the"Library" is filled with some predefined keywords like "Architecture", "Fashion", "Logos" or "Oil Painting". Stable Diffusion is also integrated into ArtHub and can be tried out directly after logging in via Twitter, Discord or GitHub.

Visualise.ai

  • prompts for Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, DALL-E 2
  • Marketplace with paid and free prompts
  • AI generation accessible for free on a limited basis

Visualise.ai is the most mature and comprehensive website of those listed here. The project has a clear idea of how it wants to make money: In addition to images, for which the corresponding prompts are free, the site also serves as a marketplace for paid prompts - and thus faces some criticism. While some AI artists have no problem charging for their text prompts, others believe they should be available to everyone for free.

Visualise.ai also offers a connection to Stable Diffusion. After signing up, there are a limited number of free credits.
