A look back at the computer future: Nvidia goes all-in on AI, Sony shows a bit more of Playstation VR 2.
Nvidia's big AI show
GTC is the name of Nvidia's regular technology conference, which stands for "GPU technology conference" - and thus actually describes times when Nvidia could primarily be considered a graphics card manufacturer.
This time is certainly not over, graphics cards are still Nvidia's cash cow - and they will remain so for a long time. But at the current GTC, Nvidia once again made it clear where the tech giant's journey is heading: artificial intelligence and everything it requires in terms of hardware and software. Consequently, the GTC's subheading now reads: "The No. 1 conference for AI developers".
