According to Bloomberg sources, OpenAI is in early talks to raise new funding at a valuation of $100 billion or more. If successful, the ChatGPT company would be one of the most valuable startups in the world, just behind SpaceX in the US. Initial discussions with potential investors have taken place, but terms, valuation, and timing have not yet been finalized. OpenAI is also in talks with G42, an AI and cloud computing company, about a multi-billion dollar chip venture. It is unclear whether the two deals are related. There have been rumors in the past that OpenAI wants to get into the chip business, which could give OpenAI another important foothold.

OpenAI has introduced an archiving feature for ChatGPT to help you manage your conversations and declutter the chat window. Similar to features on Instagram and WhatsApp, users can archive chats, which are then removed from the primary chat interface but can be accessed when needed. You can use the three-dot menu to access the archive feature. It is currently available on the web and iOS versions of ChatGPT, with an Android version expected soon.

Amazon SageMaker JumpStart now offers Llama Guard, a component of Meta's Purple Llama project. Llama Guard is a safety classifier for input/output filtering. It provides input and output safeguards for large language model deployments, enabling developers to build AI models responsibly. The model has been trained on a mix of publicly available datasets to detect potentially risky or offensive content. It can be integrated into developers' risk mitigation strategies for applications such as chatbots and content moderation. Llama Guard can be used alongside other foundational models available in SageMaker JumpStart.
